DeForest police say workers were putting a framed wall into place for a new home Wednesday when a wind gust knocked the wall over.
42-year-old Guadalupe Cervantes Vallin was severely injured when the wall hit him.
Vallin wasn’t breathing when emergency responders arrived, life-saving measures were applied, and he was taken to a hospital where he died.
The medical examiner’s office completed its investigation Thursday and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is now involved.
