Volleyball libero Lauren Barnes and men’s basketball player Brad Davison have been named Wisconsin’s recipients of the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
That’s the conference’s highest distinction.
Barnes is the sixth volleyball player to win the award and Davison is the first men’s basketball player to step forward since Joe Krabbenhoft in 2009.
Each Big Ten Conference member institution presents the award to one male and one female student-athlete each year.
