
The bats were working last night at Fox Cities Stadium, as the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers topped the Quad Cities River Bandits 3-2.
The Rattlers accumulated 8 hits, with Catcher Darrien Miller accounting for three of them in his four plate appearances.
The Bandits were trailing 3-1 entering the final frame and were able to get one run across the plate.
Cam Robinson was able to slam the door shut, earning his third save of the season for the Appleton-based ballclub.
The two teams are back at it today for game two of their weeklong series in Appleton.
First pitch at Fox Cities Stadium is scheduled for 12:10 p.m.
