There may have been some new faces at the City Council re-organizational meetings in Manitowoc and Two Rivers last night, but the ones in charge remained the same.
Both groups took nominations to fill the role of Council President, and in Manitowoc, Steve Czekala retained the position after a unanimous vote.
There was no change in Two Rivers either, as Adam Wachowski was re-elected to the position of Council President, and Darla LeClair was re-elected to serve as Vice President.
However, the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors has a new chairman.
The Board elected Tyler Martel to the position on a 13-11 vote over incumbent Jim Brey.
Kevin L. Behnke of the Town of Newton was elected First Vice-Chair, and Rick Gerroll was elected Second Vice-Chair.
