Corbin Burnes claimed his first pitching victory of the season as Milwaukee ran its winning streak to three games in a row.
Rowdy Tellez and Hunter Renfroe homered and Kolten Wong doubled in two runs.
The Brewers were held to just three hits.
Burnes pitched seven innings, allowing four hits and no walks while striking out 10.
The Pirates’ only runs came on a pair of solo homers – one by former Brewers Daniel Vogelbach.
Brandon Woodruff starts the series this afternoon as Milwaukee goes for the three-game sweep.
