
A fourth-inning grand slam by outfielder Christian Yelich was the highlight of the Brewers’ 6-1 win over the Pirates at American Family Field Monday night.
Lefty Eric Lauer pitched six strong innings to pick up the victory, limiting Pittsburgh to five hits, a walk, and one run.
The victory means the Brewers, who are favored to win the National League Central Division title, are back over the .500 mark at 6-5.
Cy Young Award-winner Corbin Burnes starts Tuesday’s game against the Pirates at 6:40 p.m. which will be aired on 107.9 FM WOMT.
