A woman and her son tell Madison police they were shot with a pellet while they were out walking just before 8:00 p.m Sunday.
They say someone in an older blue vehicle stuck a firearm through the back window and began firing at them.
The victims say they were hit but they didn’t feel any pain.
They didn’t require any medical treatment for injuries.
Officers searched the area but weren’t able to find any pellets.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance videos from a nearby business.
