A senior at Two Rivers High School has passed away. Carl Franz had been afflicted with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy up until his passing on Friday.
Two Rivers Public School District Superintendent Diane Johnson issued a letter to families following the news, where she extended her sincerest sympathy to Carl’s friends, families, and teachers.
She went on to say that extra counselors will be made available today for those who need more emotional support.
Johnson also asked parents to listen to their children, and give them the opportunity to ask questions and voice their feelings.
