The home sales numbers in Manitowoc County are a bit odd.
The number of homes sold in the County, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association, was exactly the same this past March as they were in March of 2021.
That being said, the median price of those homes rose 19.3% over that one-year time span, from $142,500 in March of 2021, to $170,000 this past month.
Those homes did stay on the market for a little bit shorter amount of time.
On average, homes were sold 64 days after being listed last month, compared to 66 last March.
The statewide numbers were quite different from the local stats.
There were 7% fewer sales, with the average home selling for only 10% more than last March, and they were staying on the market for 79 days compared to 89 in 2021.
