After some public discussion and a vote by the City Council last year, we now know when downtown Manitowoc will be reverted to two-way traffic.
Mayor Justin Nickels went to Facebook yesterday, where he announced that 8th Street from Waldo Boulevard to Washington Street, 10th Street, Water Street, and North 11th Street will be changed on August 15th at 5:00 a.m.
Traffic may be a little heavy leading up to that date, as crews will be closing one lane on all of these roads for a three-week stretch in order to change the signage and the stripes on the pavement.
