Associate head coach Mark Strobel has resigned from his position with the Wisconsin men’s hockey program after five seasons.
In his Monday announcement, Strobel says he is “forever grateful.”
He played for the Badgers from 1991 to 1995, then joined the coaching staff in 2017.
He was a part of the program’s first regular-season conference title in 21 years during last season.
Badgers head coach Tony Granato says Strobel will be missed, calling him “a Badger for life.”
