Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team defeated Sheboygan South 9-6 at the Field of Dreams in Sheboygan.
The FRCC matchup was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday afternoon at Municipal Field but was postponed and shifted to Friday due to field conditions.
Ashton Portmann was the winning pitcher, working the first 4-innings while Evan Deicher pitched in middle relief and Noah Wech earned the save.
Leading the way offensively was Bryce Erdmann who went 2-4, to go along with 4- stolen bases.
Catcher Ethan Hubbartt had 2-hits including an RBI double for the Ships, who improve to 2-1 overall and in conference.
On the schedule today is a rematch with West Bend East at Municipal Field.
The Suns defeated Lincoln last spring in the Sectional title game at Oshkosh, preventing the Ships from advancing to the State Tournament at Grand Chute.
