All residents of a home in Appleton were able to escape without injury during a fire over the weekend.
Crews with the Appleton Fire Department were dispatched to the home in the 1700 block of North Division Street at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames on the second floor of the structure in around 10 minutes.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the incident is estimated to have caused around $10,000 in damage to the home.
The Appleton Fire Department used the situation to remind residents to have a plan in case of a fire.
They said that it is important to “know two ways out in case one is blocked or dangerous.”
