There are two meetings scheduled for this evening in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Committee of the Whole, who will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
Their agenda is rather short, with only the placements of stop signs and the use of Zoom by Alderpersons up for discussion.
Then at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the Chambers.
After Mayor Justin Nickels issues a proclamation declaring May 14th as Hmong American Day, the Council will look over a claim made by a citizen.
The individual says that their vehicle was parked on Quay Street near City Hall when a Public Works vehicle backed into his vehicle.
They will also continue their discussions regarding the proposal of creating a stormwater retention facility on Reed Avenue, near Lincoln Park, and the ecological restoration of Silver Creek Park.
