The Badgers football program has offered a scholarship to California defensive lineman Ashton Sanders.
He’s a 3-star prospect for the recruiting class of 2023 from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles.
Sanders stands 6′ 2″ and weighs just over 300 pounds.
Although his size suggests he could become a nose tackle, he spent a lot of time in high school as a defensive end and stand-up edge rusher.
The Badgers made the offer Friday.
Sanders also has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Kansas, Notre Dame, and others.
