A Two Rivers Entrepreneur has been honored by Insight Publications.
They have named Emilee Rysticken as one of their “8 Women of Influence” for the New North Region.
Emilee began her career while still in high school as she opened up Scream N’ Conuts in Downtown Two Rivers at the age of 17.
She didn’t stop there as City Manager Greg Buckley explains.
“She is now working on the High Lift Coffee Shop, which will be on the corner of 12th and Madison Streets,” he said. “That will be an exciting new addition on that corner.”
Buckley voiced his pride in the work Rysticken has done both as an entrepreneur and as a representative of the Cool City in the business community.
He told Seehafer News, “Emilee has just been an outstanding young entrepreneur in our community, and a shining example that we hope will be replicated by other young people looking to go into business on their own.”
Emilee was joined on the list by Ann Franz, the Executive Director of the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance, Kristin Welch, the Founder/Executive Director of Waking Women Healing Institute Inc. Institute, the Green Bay School Family Engagement Coordinator Ungrid Parker Hill, Holly Brenner, the Senior Vice President at C.D. Smith Construction, Alison Fiebig, who is the Business Development Director at the Boldt Company, Nea Hahn who owns Whisk & Arrow Sugar Studio, and Karen Bruno, the Director of Lawrence Community Music School.
All eight women will be honored on August 2nd at a banquet in Green Bay.
Tickets will be available starting in May at InsightOnBusiness.com.
