A select group of 15 Soldiers in the Wisconsin Army National Guard competed in the 2022 State Best Warrior Competition this past weekend at Fort McCoy, including one resident from Kiel.
Specialist Joshua Kleinhans was representing B Battery, 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery Battery, and has advanced to the regional round of the competition.
He was one of eight enlisted Soldiers competing.
The Indiana National Guard will host the regional Best Warrior Competition from May 11th through the 15th at Camp Ripley, Minnesota.
