A graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School was rather busy this weekend competing in the 2022 Best Ranger Competition at Fort Benning Georgia.
Staff Sargent Nick Whitney and his teammate Sargent First Class Joshua Van Horn, were one of four teams representing the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade out of Fort Benning in the three-day competition.
The 52 total teams, consisting of two Rangers each, began battling it out on Friday and closed out the event yesterday.
The results of the competition have not yet been revealed, as there is an awards ceremony scheduled for this morning at 10:00 a.m. local time or 9:00 a.m. here.
