Manitowoc Lincoln and Oshkosh North were able to get in a girls fastpitch softball game Saturday afternoon, and the Spartans defeated the Ships 6-to-1 in nonconference action.
Lizzy Stuebs tossed a complete-game 6-hitter in the loss, striking out 8 without issuing a walk.
Karenna Sorenson had the only base hit for Lincoln in the first inning when she delivered a run-scoring single to plate Jordan Reilly, who walked and stole second.
The Ships are scheduled to host Sheboygan North tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the Citizen Park Manitowoc Youth Sports Complex.
