Former Badgers running back coach Gary Brown has died at the age of 52.
Brown came to Madison last season after serving in the same position with the Dallas Cowboys from 2013 to 2019.
He coached some of the NFL’s best backs while he was in Dallas, including DeMarco Murray and Ezekiel Elliott.
Both Murray and Elliott won league rushing titles.
Brown’s first coaching position was as an offensive coordinator at his former high school program in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 2000.
He played his college ball for Penn State.
