He only lost by 17 votes but former state Representative Josh Zepnick has decided not to ask for a recount.
Zepnick was running for the District 12 seat on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors.
The recount would have cost Zepnick about $52,000.
He lost his seat in the Wisconsin Legislature after being accused of kissing two women without their consent.
He says he has put the alcohol abuse problems he was suffering then behind him.
He had held the Assembly seat for eight terms when he lost in 2018.
