
There are three meetings on the agenda today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Building Board of Appeals will gather at 4:00 p.m. in the First Floor Hearing room in City Hall to discuss a request to construct a detached accessory to a home that exceeds the allowable maximum square footage.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Finance Committee will convene in the Council Chambers.
They will look over a report regarding a cash donation from Newton Meats to be used for livers and hearts for the carnivores in the Zoo, and another donation from the Zoo Society for the Zoo’s Easter Extravaganza.
Closing out the day will be the Crime Prevention Committee, which will meet at Police Department’s Meeting and Training Room at 6:30 p.m.
After getting the usual updates, the group will discuss the latest text messaging phishing scam to hit the lakeshore, as well as the National Night Out event.
