A candle company in Sturgeon Bay has been honored for its role in raising money for the civilians affected by the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
Leaders in Sturgeon Bay gave the Door County Candle Company an award during their Golden Hearts Volunteer Awards banquet.
The company began selling blue and yellow candles made to resemble the Ukrainian flag and gave the proceeds from those candles to relief efforts.
To date, they have raised over $275,000 and are still selling the candles.
