The mother of an infant and her mother will be standing trial in a child abuse case.
Both 23-year-old Samantha Jordan and 53-year-old Kristine Jordan have been charged with Chronic Neglect of a Child after the child was admitted to Aurora Medical Center having suffered multiple organ failures.
Police investigating the case learned that the women had been failing to feed the child the correct amount over an extended period of time.
Samantha has pleaded not guilty and will be back in court on June 29th for a scheduling conference, while Kristine will be in court for her arraignment on April 13th.
