Two Madison police officers suffered injuries while they were detaining a man with a machete inside an auto shop Monday.
Witnesses say Modou Bah walked into the shop at about 1:45 p-m, laid the 22-inch machete on the counter, and threatened to kill the workers.
The workers retreated into the garage and called 9-1-1.
When police arrived Bah reportedly began shouting at them and demanded that they shoot him.
He has been booked into the Dane County Jail on one charge of resisting arrested and four counts of disorderly conduct while armed.
