Lenora R. Westberg, age 85, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life with family by her side on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at her residence.
Lenora was born on September 4, 1936 in Merrill to the late Clarence and Pauline (Daubert) Mootz. On July 18, 1959, Lenora married Charles Westberg at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wausau. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Lenora was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include Lenora’s husband of 62 years, Charles; son, Dennis (Teresa) Westberg, Kewaunee; two grandchildren, Paul (Courtney) Westberg, Neenah; and Jenna (Killian) Smith, Appleton; two great grandchildren, Hannah and Vivian Westberg; brother, Donald (Judy) Mootz, Merrill; sister, Rosemary (Larry) Morfey, Fulton, IL; also other relatives and friends. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Pauline Mootz; brother, Larry Mootz.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand – 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Doug LeCaptain with entombment to take place at Calvary Mausoleum. Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Following the memorial service, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
