Local Youth Wrestling Coach Scott Pelot took a group of wrestlers to Cedar Falls, Iowa this past weekend to compete in the National Championship Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament.
Coach Pelot informed us that several area wrestlers were able to come away from the tourney with All-American credentials.
Gauge Shaus had a 2nd place finish, Sirr Muckerheide placed 3rd, Arianna Schacht finished 7th, and Elias Reed turned in an 8th place finish.
Pelot told Seehafer News that wrestlers needed to place among the top-8 in the national tournament to become an All-American.
