
It is election day in Manitowoc County.
As we reported yesterday, there are eleven Manitowoc County Board seats up for grabs, but there are several other county-wide races today as well.
In Manitowoc, Lisa Johnston, Dave Nickels, and Meredith Sauer are looking to retain their seats on the Board of Education against Matthew Phipps, Matthew Spaulding, and Tony Vlastelica.
In Two Rivers incumbent Jennifer Hendrickson is looking to remain on the school board, while Gary Shavlik, Nicole Benthein, Tim Klinkner, and Gregory Ross will be on the ballot looking to fill four available seats.
In the race for City Council, Incumbent Bill LeClair, along with challengers Larry Thomas, Tim Petri, Scott Stechmesser, Doug Wold, and Travis Vanlanen are looking to fill three full terms, while Jason Ring and Roger Van Voltenberg look to fill a two-year partial term.
There are also eight candidates looking to be on the Kiel School Board, and two people battling for one seat on the Reedsville School Board.
