The Shoreland Baseball League is celebrating its 50 anniversary this year and will be honoring a longtime member of the Two Rivers Polar Bears.
The anniversary celebration will be held at Walsh Field in Two Rivers on June 25th, with the gates opening at 11:00 a.m. for the alumni reunion.
All former players, coaches, and league officials are invited to attend along with their families and fans.
Then at 2:00 p.m., there will be an alumni softball game which will be followed by a Hall of Fame induction ceremony for the late Howie Timm.

Timm spent nearly 40 years associated with the Shoreland League as a player and manager during which he won four league championships with the Two Rivers Polar Bears.
The day concludes with a baseball game pitting a group of Shoreland League legends against a team of the league’s young rising stars at 5:00 p.m.
No admission will be charged throughout the day and concessions will be available.
