There are thousands of Wisconsin children in need of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA); a caring adult appointed by a judge to advocate for children in the child welfare system.
The Wisconsin CASA Association invites the public to show their support once again for CASA Advocates and the need for more Advocates by wearing blue on Wednesday, April 20 for the 5th annual “I am for the Child Day.
I am for the Child Day was created by Wisconsin CASA in 2018 in conjunction with April being Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Blue is the official color representing Child Abuse Prevention, so participants are encouraged to wear blue and post a photo with the hashtag #IamfortheChildDay to draw attention to the need for more Advocates.
