The departures of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling could have a major impact on the Packers’ big-play production even though future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still present.
Rodgers had 23 so-called “explosive plays” of at least 28 yards gained last season and 17 of those were on receptions by Adams or Valdes-Scantling.
Six were spread among all of the other teammates.
Green Bay will have to make some moves.
Head coach Matt LaFleur tells reporters he expects “a lot happening” at the wide receiver position between now and the start of the regular NFL season.
