Close, but no cigar.
The 2024 N-F-L Draft won’t be held at Titletown, as Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Monday that the three-day event will be held in Detroit.
Green Bay had been one of three finalists, along with the winner and Washington, DC.
The Packers have spent a lot of money on the area around historic Lambeau Field in an effort to attract events like the draft and the Big Ten Championship Game.
Team President and CEO Mark Murphy says those efforts will continue.
Next month’s draft will be held in Las Vegas, followed by Kansas City in 2023, then Detroit.
