
The man accused of stabbing another man to death in Manitowoc has pleaded guilty.
41-year-old Craig Holtz was in Court on Monday, where he entered his plea on a charge of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide.
The stabbing occurred on August 20th, 2020. Police reports indicate that police were called to a residence in the 1000 block of Marshal Street at around 8:30 p.m. and found the 32-year-old victim on the ground outside.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators quickly determined Holtz was a suspect and found him at a home on the north side of the city.
With the guilty plea, Holtz avoids trial, and his sentencing is set for May 25th.
