There was a high-speed chase in Sheboygan yesterday morning then nearly ended in tragedy.
According to police reports, an officer had attempted to pull a vehicle over near 12th Street and Superior Avenue at around 1:00 Monday morning.
The driver failed to stop and sped off. The unnamed driver did not get far, however, as they slammed into a home at 12th Street and Lincoln Avenue, near Kuehne Park.
The damage to the home was minor, and no injuries were reported.
The driver was then arrested, but it is not clear what charges they are facing.
