
The newest circuit court judge for Rock County is making history.
Ashley Morse was appointed to the bench last Friday becoming the first woman of color to serve as a judge in that county.
She officially fills the vacancy created by Judge Daniel T. Dillon’s resignation on April 5th.
Morse has worked for the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office since 2010.
She will complete the current term that ends July 31st of next year.
