A high-speed chase yesterday in Sheboygan County ended safely, and with one man in custody.
The incident began with a simple traffic stop, as the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a vehicle with expired registration.
When the deputy noticed the distinct smell of marijuana, he asked the 29-year-old driver about it.
That is when the man became combative and attempted to take the deputy’s taser.
The man then took off south on I-43, eventually making his way into Ozaukee County where he was stopped and arrested.
The full list of charges was not released, but we do know the man is facing drug and eluding charges.
