The grant awards were announced in a joint release from Gov. Tony Evers along with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection on Thursday.
$1.1 million is being utilized for the Port of Green Bay to stabilize the existing shoreline and to construct a new dock wall. $249,000 is being utilized in the City of Kewanee to repair the dock wall near Harbor Park.

In the announcement of the funding, Gov. Evers noted that the investments “strengthen our supply chain and open new opportunities for business growth in our state.”
