Nine area youth wrestlers have earned an opportunity to wrestle at a statewide tournament.
The wrestlers are all part of the Whitelaw Warriors Wrestling Club and will be partaking in the 2022 Wisconsin Wrestling Federation Kids Folkstyle State Championships this weekend.
The five boys that qualified are Brody Brandt, Owen Beatty, Tommy Braun, Malakai Munoz, and Henry Erdmann.
The girls joining them are Kenley Berglund, Teagan Turk, Kailee Yauch, and Audrey Brandt.
The tournament technically begins this evening, with boys weigh-ins taking place at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison at 7:00 p.m.
The actual wrestling will begin at 8:30 tomorrow morning, with the grand march scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
