A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for violently sex trafficking two children.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 28-year-old David Smith took sexually explicit photographs of the girls, ages 16 and 17, and posted them in commercial sex advertisements.
Investigators say Smith then arranged meetings with customers in hotel rooms in the Chicago area and Wisconsin, with Smith keeping all the money.
The trafficking took place in late 2019 and early 2020.
Smith pleaded guilty last year and in addition to the prison sentence has been ordered to pay $50,000 in restitution to each victim.
