There are two meetings on the agenda today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Room Tax Commission, who will gather at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
After looking over the Director of Tourism’s initiatives for this year, the group will look over four requests for Discover Manitowoc Grants and a request for funds from the Rahr-West Art Museum for their utility box project.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the City Council will occupy the Council Chambers.
After the public is given time to voice their comments, the Council will review the bids received for numerous planned projects throughout the city.
They will also discuss a request to install duck crossing signs on South 10th Street between Dewey Street and Grand Avenue near the retention pond.
The Public Safety Committee will also bring forth ordinances looking to amend several sections of the Municipal Code, namely related to outdoor lighting, parking, and the flow of traffic in the River Point District.
