One of the leaders of a plan to undo Wisconsin’s 2020 electoral votes appeared to contradict himself on whether or not he’s taking part in the Republican elections probe.
Jefferson Davis says that he’s not working with Mike Gableman, and said he, “wouldn’t know them if they walked through the door.”
But last week following a closed-door meeting with Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, Davis told reporters that he was holding back on releasing information to assist with Gableman’s investigation.
Lawyers from both the Legislature and the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty say it’s impossible to undo electoral college votes.
