
Two Sheboygan residents have been displaced by a fire yesterday morning.
According to a report from the Sheboygan Fire Department, the call reporting the fire in the 1500 block of North 12th Street came in at around 6:30 a.m.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and reported smoke emitting from the second floor of the residence.
The blaze was quickly extinguished with minimal damage reported to the structure.
The two occupants of the second floor rescinded have been displaced, but the residents on the first floor were able to return.
The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage, but the cause is not yet known.
