
The Green Bay Packers announced a series of coaching changes on Thursday, including two promotions from within.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur announced that Jerry Montgomery has been promoted to defensive line / running game coordinator and Ryan Downard promoted to safeties coach.
Montgomery is entering his eighth season with the Packers, having worked as defensive line coach over the past four seasons. Downard is entering his fifth season in Green Bay, having served as assistant defensive backs coach from 2019 through last season.
Ramsen Golphashin has been hired as an offensive quality control coach, Quinshon Odom as a coaching assistant and Michael Spurlock as a special teams quality control coach.
