The man accused of killing his two young children in February of last year will enter a plea next week.
Matthew Beyer will be in court on March 21st, and it appears as though a deal has been reached that would elevate the need for a trial.
Beyer is facing two counts of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide in the deaths of 5-year-old William and 3-year-old Danielle Beyer in Kaukauna.
Officers responded to the Beyer home on February 17th, 2020, to find the children with injuries to their necks.
Autopsies determined the children were stabbed five to eight times in their necks, while William also had two shallow cuts to his hands.
Investigators say this is a sign that William put up a fight.
Beyer also reportedly tried to escape from prison, but his attempt failed.
