Authorities didn’t buy the story offered by Shauntina R. Fuller-Pankey nearly four years ago.
They said the large skull fracture suffered by the two-month-old victim was too extensive.
Fuller-Pankey was sentenced to more than two years in prison Tuesday after she had entered an Alford plea in December.
The girl died on June 25th, 2018.
The mother initially denied any role in her baby’s death, then offered two more versions of the story, after admitting it was her fault.
