The Packers have signed linebacker De’Vondre Campbell to a five-year, $50 million contract and edge rusher Preston Smith to a restructured deal.
The team has to make several adjustments to get under the NFL salary cap by Wednesday.
They also released All-Pro Za’Darius Smith and solid offensive lineman, Billy Turner, Monday.
Green Bay is expected to work on an agreement with All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams who has said he won’t play under the franchise tag.
That means the Packers will have to find another $7 to $8 million to fit him under the cap.
