A major road construction project in Sheboygan is starting today.
The Department of Transportation will be conducting a full reconstruction of Indiana Avenue from Esslingen Park, just west of Taylor Drive, to South 24th Street.
Starting this morning, the westbound lanes of traffic will be closed, but there will be one lane available for motorists traveling west.
That being said, those who typically travel to Kohler using that route will have to use alternate roads.
Also, the intersection at Taylor Drive will be reduced to a single lane in both directions.
The project is expected to take through November to complete.
