The rifle used by Illinois teenager Kyle Rittenhouse to kill two men and wound a third has been shredded.
The Wisconsin State Crime Lab has confirmed it destroyed the weapon on February 25th.
A video shows technicians unboxing the gun used as evidence during the Rittenhouse trial and feeding it into a shredder at a Milwaukee lab.
Prosecution and defense attorneys agreed after the trial that the gun should be destroyed so no one could buy it and use it as a trophy.
