The two Peewee level teams in the Manitowoc County Youth Hockey Association competed in their state Tournaments this weekend.
The B team started out strong, toppling Prince Ice 8-2 on the back of a two-goal performance by D’Angelo Flores.
They kept the offense going in game two, as they defeated Altoona 8-3, this time with Vincent Stephens picking up a pair of goals.
In the championship game, the offense ran a bit cold, as they only scored two, and game up six in a loss to Burnett, ending their season with a 2nd place finish.
The C team meanwhile, lost their first game to somerset 4-1 but bounced back to win over Black River Falls 5-2.
Then, in the Consolation Championship game, they were shut out by Tomahawk and lost 3-0.
Congrats to all five local youth hockey teams on their successful seasons.
