
Jermaine M. “Geri” VandenBusch, age 98 of Manitowoc, left this life to go to eternal life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Geri was born on August 14, 1923 in Reedsville, daughter of the late Albert and Clara (Remiker) Wolf. She was a graduate of Reedsville High School. On September 10, 1949 Geri was married to Leonard “Bud” VandenBusch. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1984. She worked in the past as an office manger at the Watercare Company. Geri was a member and officer of Women’s Aglow International and formerly of the Faith Free Church. She volunteered at the Manitowoc Public Library and the Salvation Army. Geri loved bible study, entertaining in her home and travelling with her husband Bud.
The last three years of Geri’s life were spent at Azura Memory Care where she hosted music events and coffee gatherings as friends continued to come where she was and bring joy to all.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Virginia (Robert) Adams, Milwaukee; one sister-in-law: Fern Wolf, Green Bay, nieces, nephews and many faithful friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Clara Wolf; her husband: Leonard “Bud” VandenBusch; one brother: Albert Wolf; one sister and brother-in-law: Charlotte (Richard) Kieffer.
Memorial service will be held at the All-Care Reception Center, 925 South 14th Street, Manitowoc across from the Pfeffer Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may call. Entombment has previously taken place at the Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with arrangements.
